A-1 Reptiles accepts Visa, MC, Discover, Debit Cards, Pre-paid Visa cards and Paypal. Prepaid Visa cards can be purchased from Walmart or any other discount center that sells prepaid Visa cards.
You may place your order online with our secure online form or phone your order into our order line @ 740-493-0029. Orders placed and paid for by 9:00 A.M. EST ship same day for overnight delivery to your door.
Please note credit card orders are processed at the time the order is placed. A-1 Reptiles reserves the right to asses up to a 15% charge on all orders already processed and then canceled or returned due to fees incurred during the charge and credit process.
We transport UPS Overnight Air to your door and shipping charges are automated in our online ordering process and are billed at a less expensive flat rate charge of $54.80 for one item. All phone orders are billed through UPS.com and are charged actual shipping fees per destination zip code. All shipping costs include a fuel surcharge due to the daily fluctuating cost of fuel prices as determined by UPS. Any Saturday delivery is an additional charge of $15.00 by UPS to deliver on Saturday.
All live product ships out at night UPS overnight air to your door in an insulated case with heat or cool packs as indicated by weather conditions for your area and delivery is by 10:30 A.M. next morning to most destinations. During extreme winter weather it may be necessary to ship to the nearest UPS Customer Center for pick up which is normally within five to ten miles from your billing zip code.
Live arrival is guaranteed. We must be notified the day of delivery if there is a problem with your delivery.
PLEASE be sure someone is at the delivery address to accept the package and sign for live delivery. If the buyer is not present at the delivery address to accept and sign for the live delivery then the buyer assumes all risk associated with the delivery. If you can not be home for delivery please let us know as we can also ship to your nearest UPS Customer Center for pick up. A Government issued photo ID, such as a drivers license, is required by the UPS Customer Center for all pick ups.
If you know of bad weather in your area please contact us to let us know so we can reschedule your transport date.
We take every precaution available to make certain you are shipped the exact specimen in the photo cataloged by number. Due to heat/cold or shedding an animals coloration may become lighter or darker during transport or while becoming acclimated to its new environment.
If you decide to return an item the total amount of the invoice only will be refunded to your account less air freight. Air shipping charges are not refundable. All live product must be returned within forty-eight hours of the receipt date at the buyers expense. After the forty-eight hour inspection period has passed all sales are final. Basically because we have no control over care of the animal after that point. Please call for a return authorization number prior to shipping live product back. This policy is strictly adhered to!
Please note in order to maintain successful business practices we can not hold product that has been posted for sale without full payment. We do not take deposits on items that have been posted for sale on our catalog sites. You do not have an order until your order is paid in full.
If your order is paid in full and you find you have schedule conflicts, receiving your live package, you may schedule transport on another date up until fourteen days after your order is paid for.

We use dense foam insulation inside our shipping boxes to insure your animal remains in comfort and in good health during their short travel to you. The health of our animals is our top priority and we cut no corners.
We control the temperature on the "inside" of the box.
